Director, Biostatistics – Virology (Bay Area, CA)

We’re looking for an experienced Biostatistics leader to drive Virology clinical programs and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. This Director-level role will oversee clinical trial design, statistical analysis, and regulatory interactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality results.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead statistical strategy for Virology trials and provide decision support.
  • Act as the statistical lead for one or more molecules / indications in regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with statisticians, programmers, clinical teams, and project managers.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments (PhD 8+ yrs)
  • Strong hands‑on skills with SAS and R.
  • Experience in clinical trial design and analysis, including phase 1–3 studies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
