Operations Manager Fremont MI

Salary Range : $105000 - $152000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily production operations to meet output targets quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee inventory management supply chain coordination and logistics to ensure optimal material flow and cost control.
  • Lead mentor and develop operational staff fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies.
  • Manage operational budgets identify cost-saving opportunities and control expenditures to achieve financial objectives.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and facility management to maximize uptime and operational reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Strong proficiency in production planning scheduling quality control and inventory management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to lead motivate and develop cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and foster a culture of safety.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to operational decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.

    • Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation IoT).
  • Proficiency with specific ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics).
