Field Superintendent – Heavy Civil & Mission Critical Projects 📍 Location :

  • Texas 🏢 Company : Gregory Construction Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, award-winning contractor, is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on heavy civil and mission critical construction projects across the Southeast.
  • This role is key to ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Gregory’s high standards of quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Direct and supervise all onsite construction activities and field personnel.
  • Coordinate daily / weekly schedules, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment.
  • Partner with Project Managers to develop work plans, logistics, and safety strategies.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Monitor quality control, field productivity, and job site progress.
  • Assist with site layout and survey coordination as needed.
  • Mentor and develop crew members while fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Resolve field issues and keep projects on track through proactive communication.

    • Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of field construction experience , including 5+ years supervising heavy civil or mission critical projects .
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Foreman on similar scopes.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, paving, storm drainage, utilities, and concrete work.
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 and CPR / First Aid preferred.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications, lead teams, and make sound field decisions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to job sites across the region.
