Keypath Education is supporting Elmhurst University’s search for adjunct clinical nursing faculty in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) and Master’s Entry in Nursing Practice (MENP).

The Elmhurst University Department of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking clinical faculty with strong experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing.

Job Description

This position works in clinical settings with groups of nursing students, helping students apply theory to practice situations and develop critical thinking skills.

• Supervise a group of 4-8 Elmhurst students onsite in the clinical setting
• Hours vary by course, and range from 8-12 hours per day, depending on the clinical site
• Grade clinical paperwork
• Communicate with course coordinator of progress of clinical students
• Serve as a liaison between the clinical agency and the course coordinator
• Supervise unlicensed nursing students

Qualifications

• Currently active unencumbered IL RN license
• Bachelors and earned master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN
• Previous Clinical teaching experience
• Reliable transportation to clinical agency sites
