Our Houston based Oil & Gas client are looking for a Snr Petroleum Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities :
– Reservoir model calibration and performance prediction.
– Prediction of surface heave, subsidence, and subsurface reservoir compaction.
– Development and deployment of reservoir simulation tools coupled with geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing.
– Contribute to technology development programs in understanding shale reservoir performance.
– Perform integrated studies to improve the design of fractured horizontal wells.
– Conduct reservoir characterization and uncertainty study in both conventional and unconventional resources.
– Participate in peer reviews and assists in support of geomechanical analysis and frac optimization.
Qualifications :
– Master or Doctoral degree in petroleum or related engineering field.
– 7+ years of experience in applying geomechanics in the context of reservoir development, management and performance prediction; geomechanics numerical simulators; modeling well performance in unconventional resources.
– Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
