About The Position

License : Oregon State License or proof of application / fingerprints required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring, MFTI Cert preferred

Must-Have :

Must have applied for RN license.

2 years of specialty experience preferred, with strong experience considered.

Previous travel experience preferred.

Description :

Candidates must be willing to float within the site and across the system.

Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week.

Cancellations must occur 1.5 hours before the start of a shift.

Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty.

The facility expects travelers to have previous charge experience.

Daily responsibilities include managing high and low-risk obstetrical patients, antepartum patients, labor patients, and occasional GYN patients.

Staff will work across both labor and postpartum units.

Labor unit has a total of 12 labor beds, one triage room, and three operating rooms.

The postpartum unit includes 24 beds and can monitor antepartum patients.

Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekends and holidays.

Mandatory float requests must be accepted to avoid cancellation of the contract.

Completion of orientation and training modules is required prior to starting.

Reference checks are necessary, preferably from a recent supervisor or manager.

Background checks with no felony hits are required.

The applicant must have Epic experience.

Travelers cannot reside within a specified distance from any health facility.

All requests for time off must be included in the application.

Previous staff must meet a one-year separation rule.

Modules or other requirements prior to start are non-billable.
