Job Summary : Creative Chaos is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Tax Specialist (Enrolled Agent) to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax-related matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review U.S. individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)
• Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and structuring matters
• Represent clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, and collection cases
• Assist in preparing responses to IRS notices and handling tax controversy matters
• Ensure timely and accurate filings with adherence to IRS and state-specific guidelines
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting, legal) on tax issues
• Keep up to date with U.S. tax laws, international tax treaties, and IRS updates
• Support ITIN application and acceptance agent services (if applicable)
• Train junior staff or tax associates as needed
