Safety Manager II, Regional
What Success in Role Looks Like at The Waldinger Corporation
Responsible for administering an effective safety program that results in an overall reduction in frequency and severity of accidents, injuries, and the associated costs. Enforces current safety policies and procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Safety Training and Orientation : Prepares and presents appropriate safety training and orientation to team members and managers based on safety needs.
Jobsite Inspections : Schedules and conducts regular jobsite and shop safety inspections. Records findings for safety and operational leadership's review. Identifies trends and escalates to leadership for further evaluation and training.
Accident Investigation : Directs the medical attention of all division team members involved in a work-related injury or illness and assures a post-accident drug test is performed. Completes the post-accident follow-up and provides updates to leadership.
Hazard Assessment and Planning : Works with Project Team to identify hazards and establishes work plans to ensure successful safe production.
Leadership Collaboration : Collaborates with production leaders to establish new safety policies and procedures. Provides feedback on recently implemented safety policies.
Safety Program Materials : Facilitates the Corporate Safety Leader with the preparation, creation, and distribution of safety program materials.
Disaster Preparedness Plan : Administers the disaster preparedness plan for assigned branches.
Additional Responsibilities : Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements :
Job Related Experience : 3-5 years of safety program management for a construction, industrial, or service-related industry
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience
Certification : Relevant safety certification(s)s
Physical Demands : Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
