Our family-owned primary care physicians office in Woodbridge is seeking a friendly reliable and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn passionate about helping others and interested in building a long-term career in the medical or healthcare field. The doctor is committed to teaching and training the right candidate from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients check them in verify insurance and update patient records

Answer phone calls schedule appointments and manage daily office communications

Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing scanning and data entry

Coordinate patient flow and help maintain an organized welcoming front office

Provide translation and support for Spanish-speaking patients

Support clinical staff with simple non-clinical tasks (training provided)

Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable punctual and able to multitask in a busy office environment

Positive attitude professional demeanor and willingness to learn

Basic computer skills (email scheduling electronic files)

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience in medical office settings or customer service
• Interest in medical assisting nursing public health or other healthcare careers
