About the Team

Within the Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) organization, the Technology Alliances, Platform and Incubation Ecosystem Group manages key strategic alliance initiatives and partnerships to support SAP’s most important strategic technology partnerships (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, NVIDIA, AWS, Google, Microsoft). The group identifies, incubates, and executes on technology partner deals, mapping them to SAP’s AI‑first and suite‑first strategy, and works closely with product, commercial, and operational teams across the organization.

Summary & Role Information

  • Drive crucial business development initiatives for SAP’s largest Business Data Cloud, AI and hyperscaler technology alliances.
  • Lead and manage key critical alliance initiatives to ensure successful execution of GTM, co‑innovation and cross‑partnership initiatives.
  • Support and drive key business development activities with partners and expand stakeholder networks.
  • Advise the Executive team on enhancing SAP’s presence with global technology players and leveraging partner technologies to strengthen SAP’s platform and product focus.
  • Develop industry‑leading points of view to differentiate SAP in the marketplace with partners.
  • Create well‑thought‑out business cases for new partnering / investment decisions based on white‑space analysis and market trends relevant to SAP’s strategy.
  • Manage and support steering of technology alliance priorities, align with senior leadership, and implement best‑in‑class business management processes.
  • Guide sub‑streams such as GTM execution, marketing positioning & messaging, communications, enablement, revenue & investment planning, and execution.

Experience

  • Strong leadership skills and experience with complex, cross‑functional / regional programs and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a tight operational execution focus to deliver outstanding results.
  • Senior stakeholder management experience at all levels up to the Executive Board.
  • Broad understanding of Product Management, Business Development, Ecosystem / Partner Management, and Sales.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, preferably in Sales, Business Development, Partner Management, or similar environments.
  • Leadership experience in large project management settings across board areas or line functions.

    Compensation Range Transparency

    Targeted combined range for this position is $271,800 – $578,700 USD. The actual amount offered will be within that range, dependent upon education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and other factors determined during the selection process.
