RENT Prosper is Hiring a Maintenance / HVAC Technician!

Location : Winter Park Woods – Winter Park / Orlando, FL

Address : 349 Scottsdale Square, Winter Park, FL

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $25–$27 per hour

Employment Type : Full Time

Overview

RENT Prosper is seeking a skilled Maintenance / HVAC Technician to join our team at Winter Park Woods , a 150-unit condominium community in the Orlando area. This role focuses on resident work orders , unit turnovers , and HVAC troubleshooting on older residential systems.

This is an on-site position with rare, emergency-only on-call hours . No exterior / grounds work is required.

We’re looking for a dependable, skilled technician with strong HVAC experience and a passion for quality repairs and great service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 10+ year-old residential HVAC systems
• Replace / install coils, compressors, air handlers, drain lines, Freon, and related components
• Repair, replace, or install major household appliances (stoves, fridges, washers / dryers, microwaves)
• Perform plumbing repairs : sinks, toilets, valves, garbage disposals, water heaters
• Complete basic electrical work : fixtures, fans, switches, receptacles, and appliances
• Execute unit turnovers (make readies) : inspections, scopes of work, repairs, and preparation for move-in
• Log tasks, photos, materials, and time entries in the property management system (Yardi, RentCafe, etc.)
• Prioritize and manage daily work orders professionally
• Maintain accurate records, receipts, and weekly reporting
