About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Utah!

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for locum tenens in Utah

Start date as soon as credentialed : Schedule :  Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Position Overview :

12–15 procedures / day : EGD, EVS, and general GI cases

8–10 clinic patients / day (30-minute slots)

Double booking permitted with supervision and appropriate support

Sedation : Max sedation and Propofol (anesthesiologist on site)

EMR : EPIC & Provation (Smartsets enabled)

Bowel prep preference : Miralax and others available

Scopes : Fuji non scopes

Procedures scheduled in 30-minute blocks

Weekly clinic volume : 40–50 patients (Mon–Thurs)

Outpatient setting

3 procedure rooms (2 outpatient, 1 inpatient)

Support Staff : MA, RN, Echo Tech, Lab Tech, Nuclear Tech, X-ray Tech

Access to an APP two days / week based on schedule

Requirements :

Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required

Gastroenterology Fellowship – Required

Active Utah Medical License (Or willing To Apply)

Active BLS Certification – Required

Active DEA License – Required

Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) – Required
