Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Part Time Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This person will assist in managing inventory, shipping, procurement, and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of 20-24 hours / week within our standard customer service hours : 7 : 30am-5 : 30pm - M-F. Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Assisting with inventory control of products
- Verifying packing slip accuracy with purchase order
- Stocking shelves, rotating inventory items as necessary, reporting shortages to manager
- Maintaining equipment repair processes, including disinfecting, cleaning, reassembly
- Function testing of reassembled equipment and placement back in inventory as patient ready
- Filling daily work orders in a timely manner for UPS shipping readiness
- Reporting and taking active part in measured improvement in processes to reduce incorrect deliveries
- Assisting team to ensure branch orders are pulled accurately
- Ensuring branch orders are shipped in a timely manner using the most cost-effective means
- Communicating inventory needs to leadership based on established par levels
- Serving as a product availability and location resource to Customer Service, Service Technicians, and other team members
- Assisting with clerical activities including filing, and maintaining of various established data bases including equipment repair log and other compliance records
- Arranging procurement of CPAP / BiPAP and oximetry download data
- Developing and maintaining a basic knowledge of NRS Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure Manual
- Attending annual training sessions and / or competency tests
- Under the direct supervision of Director of RT, assisting with in-house clients as appropriate
- All other duties as assigned by branch manager
Qualifications : Our top candidate would have :
Education / Experience - High School diploma or general education degreeWarehouse and or HME experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to create Microsoft word documents and proficient at data entry to established Microsoft excel spreadsheetsAbility to speak and communicate well with clientsAbility to read and interpret documents such as instructions / procedures / manufacturers recommendationsMust possess good customer and communication skills with internal and external customer groupsMust be flexible and resourceful in an ever-changing environmentAbility to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities with little supervisionFrequent bending, reaching, twisting. Ability to lift up to and including 60 pounds. Frequent standing, walking. Subject to varied warehouse temperatures.
