Join Our Team as an Electronic Security Systems Technician!

We are looking for a dedicated technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems in diverse environments.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 based on experience, plus a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of your annual pay!

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license; must complete pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications for work in the security industry.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation practices.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Mathematical skills including proficiency in calculations related to algebra and geometry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Install and wire alarm system devices according to specifications.
• Test and verify functionality of all installed systems ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize multimeters for voltage and OHM readings, as well as circuit analysis.
• Connect devices like motion detectors and keypads to alarm panels.
• Program alarm systems using appropriate programming tools.
• Educate clients on system functionality and usage.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the relevant department daily.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Installation Supervisor that support business operations.
