About The Position

Description :

  • We are currently seeking a Locum Tenens Urgent Care Physician for coverage at the Client's Center in Massillon, Ohio. This high-priority opportunity offers a consistent 12-hour shift schedule and will provide critical support until a full-time physician is onboard.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct, high-quality urgent care to patients of all ages
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of non-emergent conditions
  • Work independently during 12-hour shifts (single physician coverage)
  • Collaborate with an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) team for patient care
  • Use CareCloud EMR for documentation and patient records
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clinical and administrative staff
  • Follow established clinical protocols and uphold OVP Health standards of care

    • Working Hours :

  • Shift : 12-hour shifts, 10 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 PM, daily
  • Weekend Requirement : Yes
  • Schedule flexibility available (7-on / 7-off, 5 days / week, or alternative models)

    • Skills :

  • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume urgent care setting (50-60 patients / day)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a single-physician model
  • Proficient with CareCloud EMR (or ability to learn quickly)

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications :

  • MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) ( Required)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following :
  • Family Medicine (FM)
  • Internal Medicine (IM)
  • Emergency Medicine (EM)
  • Occupational Medicine (OM)
  • Active Ohio medical license -   Required (no exceptions)
  • Active DEA registration -   Required by start date
  • BLS Certification -   Required
