Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer & Operator responsible for the CMM inspection process to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed customer requirements. The role involves utilizing Calypso software and collaborating with the Engineering department to program the CMM and solve product-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Own the CMM inspection process using Calypso software.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department to obtain and program 3D model extracted files.
- Interpret customer drawings and models to ensure all dimensional requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as per specifications and internal requirements.
- Perform semi-complex inspections using various measuring instruments to determine part acceptance or rejection.
- Conduct first article inspections following customer drawings, specifications, and internal documents.
- Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
- Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Perform inspections in accordance with assembly department requirements.
- Assist customer / government source inspectors as necessary.
- Conduct complete inspections per applicable specifications, standards, and other contractual documents.
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results following approved procedures.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and nonconforming material returns.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CMM programming and inspections.Experience with GD&T per ASME Y 14.5.Ability to interpret customer drawings and / or models.Experience operating CMM Calypso software.Fluent reading and writing in English.Ability to clearly communicate inspection results.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.Experience in an aerospace environment with AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality System.Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection process.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.ERP / MRP experience with Epicor.Experience utilizing Mylars for product conformance.Work Environment
This is an on-site position, possibly operating on a 4-10 schedule. It offers a contract-to-hire opportunity within a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Fort Worth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00 / hr.
