POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Corporate Paralegal provides essential legal and administrative support within the Legal Department, focusing primarily on corporate matters, with additional administrative, compliance, and insurance-related responsibilities. This role involves performing a wide range of legal, research, administrative, and clerical tasks that require strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Corporate Governance: Manage corporate entity records, prepare and file annual reports, and assist with corporate maintenance and governance activities. Draft various resolutions in conjunction with or under the supervision of counsel; liase with non-U.S. colleagues and outside counsel, as needed, for non-U.S. entities. Support Chief Legal Officer & Secretary on Board-related administrative tasks, as needed.
- Insurance: Facilitate information gathering for corporate insurance applications and claims.
- Compliance: Track compliance training and administer various compliance training programs.
- Legal & Administrative Assistance: Support attorneys and team members with document preparation, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as needed.
This position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/Experience: College diploma or equivalent preferred, plus at least three years of experience or combination of experience and specialized paralegal or legal secretarial education.
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program is strongly preferred.
- Experience in a corporate legal department is preferred.
- Experience with corporate entity maintenance, including maintenance of corporate books.
- Ability to compose, type and assemble information in proper legal form.
- Ability to conduct legal research based on instructions from an attorney.
- Set up and maintain a wide variety of legal files, records and reports.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on various matters of significance.
- Follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Prepare routine legal documents without the assistance of an attorney.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Commute to our Montvale, NJ headquarters
- Hybrid work model (expected to be in the office at least three days a week).

The salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000 per year.
