General Labor / Sorter / Recycling Sorter

As a General Laborer / Sorter, you will be responsible for working quickly and efficiently to sort through paper / cardboard / plastic and other recyclable materials, maintaining a safe and clean work environment and all other duties as assigned. You should be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, productive open warehouse-type setting. You must have consistent, reliable attendance and practice Safety First.

Job Duties Include :

  • Sorting Recyclables

Additional Job Duties Include :

  • Production Line Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting materials on the conveyor line by performing the following duties
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding and repetitive role.
  • Sort items or materials into piles or places in containers according to type of recyclable material

    • What You Will Have :

  • Required to use hand to eye coordination
  • Required to be on your feet for your entire shift (8 Hours)
  • Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, etc) rarely
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 15 pounds
  • Required to be exposed to all outdoor elements (Hot / Cold Weather Conditions)
  • Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements

    • $17.00 / hr

    Monday-Friday

    1st Shift : 6am-2 : 30pm

    2nd Shift : 2 : 30pm - 11 : 00pm
