[job_card.job_description]Work in the ICU department of an acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds Patient ratio is 1 : 2 for ICU assignments Night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts (19 : 00-07 : 30) Requires work every other weekend Travelers are expected to float between ICU and DSU, and between facilities within the state Uses Epic charting system; previous Epic experience required Royal blue scrubs required for RNs All travelers are expected to float between units and facilities within the state as needed Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day RTO must be requested at time of application and may be limited Magnet-designated hospital environment Free parking provided for staff Completion of pre-assignment learning modules (average 16 hours, non-billable) is required Travelers refusing to float may be subject to termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours Active CA RN license in hand; no temporary or pending licenses accepted Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required High acuity ICU experience strongly preferred At least 1 year of prior experience in similar setting required First-time travelers accepted Must provide 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years Must live more than 50 miles from the facility Return staff permitted only after 3 months High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
