Overview

Security Officer

DSI is adding to its ranks in the Oxnard, CA area. Come join our fast-growing team as a Security Officer. Applicants for this position must be licensed by BSIS unarmed.

Salary

  • $18.25 / Hr

    • Qualifications

  • CA GUARD CARD IS REQUIRED
  • Pre-employment requirements : at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license is preferred
  • You must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication
  • You must pass all required background and drug screenings

    • Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients
  • Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards
  • Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
  • Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSIs safety manual
  • Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner
  • Be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills
  • Perform routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements
