Terri Quintel Astrology is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team. Our company specializes in delivering cutting-edge astrology software solutions that empower users to better understand their astrological charts and personal journeys. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications that offer an intuitive user experience and seamless functionality. You will work closely with our creative and analytical teams to translate complex astrological data into actionable insights through robust software solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as you will be responsible for architecting comprehensive solutions that meet both user needs and our business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications for astrology software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate user needs into technical specifications.
  • Implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure a high level of performance across all devices.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing software issues while optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our tech stack remains current and competitive.
  • Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and other modern web technologies.
  • Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and development practices.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
