Job Summary :

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, the Staff Accountant will have the opportunity to work across the finance and accounting organization to help us achieve our goal of being a best-in-class external reporting group. This role will have visibility to all aspects of annual and quarterly reporting and key responsibilities will include the preparation of SEC filings and assisting with technical accounting research and documentation, special projects, and process improvement efforts. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and consistently meet deadlines.

This role will have high visibility within the finance organization including exposure to the VP, Financial Accounting and SVP, Chief Accounting Officer. This role will also work cross-functionally with other teams across the organization including Investor Relations, Legal, Human Resources, Tax, and Financial Planning and Analysis. This is an excellent role to gain exposure to a growing retail organization. This role maintains a hybrid work schedule, and candidates are expected to work from the Marlborough, MA corporate headquarters on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week.

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $60,500.00.
