Organic traffic and search engine optimization are foundational elements that have contributed to NerdWallet’s success. As the Senior Product Manager for SEO you will be responsible for defending and growing our organic audience by building, testing, and optimizing on‑site SEO features that ensure our content reaches our target audience. You’ll drive strategy and execution, shaping the end‑to‑end user experience and making a tangible impact on millions of consumers navigating key financial decisions. You should be passionate about delivering meaningful, intuitive, and user‑friendly product experiences that empower people to make confident financial choices.

You’ll combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution, collaborating with cross‑functional partners to integrate robust solutions that enhance our ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fintech, consumer finance, or growth‑focused product management, proven SEO experience and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where experimentation and innovation drive measurable results. You’ll continuously monitor product performance metrics to optimize user engagement, conversion, and long‑term value, ensuring that every enhancement moves both the customer and the business forward.

This role reports to the Director, Engineering for the SEO Team.

• Own Product Strategy : Lead the end to end vision and roadmap, partnering with data, design, engineering and marketing to drive growth across organic funnels.
• Accelerate Growth : Launch and optimize experiences that improve customer outcomes and scale the business.
• Leverage Market Insights : Conduct thorough market analysis and user research to identify opportunities, inform strategy and guide product decisions.
• Champion Consumer‑Centric Innovation : Deeply understand consumer behaviors and needs to deliver personalized high‑impact product experiences.
• Drive Execution : Partner cross functionally to deliver new features and product enhancements on time and with measurable impact.
• Optimize Performance : Use data, A / B testing and experimentation to improve engagement, conversion and retention.
• Advocate for the Customer : Keep user needs and outcomes at the heart of every decision.
• Mentor and Collaborate : Support junior PMs, fostering growth, inclusion and shared success.
