Traveling Quality Inspector

Experience with Federal projects is preferred.

Traveling Quality Inspector Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed reviews of project drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Developing and managing QA / QC plans, reviewing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Leading coordination efforts including pre-installation conferences, weekly quality meetings, and subcontractor alignment.
• Conducting on-site inspections and testing (e.g., welds, bolts, pressure tests), overseeing third-party evaluations, and enforcing corrective actions.
• Maintaining organized records of inspections, test results, and certifications; verifying qualifications of vendors and installers.
• Coordinating sampling and testing schedules to avoid delays, collaborating with inspection entities, and supporting project closeout with final quality reporting.
