PHARMACY INTAKE COORDINATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION :

Location : Centennial CO 80112 – 100% On-site

Payrate : $23.26 / hr

Required Availability : Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM–5 : 30 PM

Occasional rotating Saturday shift (approximately once per month)

PHARMACY INTAKE COORDINATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS :

The Pharmacy Intake Coordinator works closely with sales, pharmacy, access operations, and clinical staff to ensure a smooth intake process from start to finish. Successful candidates maintain a positive, calm tone while serving as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY INTAKE COORDINATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES :

Coordinate incoming referrals and verify all required documentation has been received

Enter patient demographics, clinical details, and insurance information into the system

Complete insurance verification and confirm patient acceptance of financial responsibility before initial shipments

Collaborate with Sales, Access Operations, and clinical teams on referral status, authorization needs, and cost estimates

Document all progress notes and communication accurately in the system

Notify patients or caregivers of insurance coverage details and payment obligations

Maintain confidentiality of all patient and proprietary information

Perform additional duties as assigned

PHARMACY INTAKE COORDINATOR | REQUIREMENTS :

Education : High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)

Attendance : Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

Background in a medical or healthcare-related setting

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

Ability to maintain a supportive, professional, and calm atmosphere for patients and referral partners
