About the Role

In this contingent role, you will support and contribute to moderately complex initiatives within the Information Security function. You will analyze security-related data, evaluate variable risk factors, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery of security controls and compliance requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration, and hands‑on experience in tools such as Excel and Jira.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to moderately complex Information Security initiatives and planning activities.
• Review and analyze security challenges requiring thorough evaluation of multiple variables.
• Support the resolution of issues related to Information Security controls, working within established policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal partners across information security, business teams, engineering, and architecture groups.
• (Nice to Have) Support execution, validation, and maintenance of security controls aligned with organizational standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis, or equivalent experience through a combination of professional work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including:Working with large datasetsBuilding reports and dashboardsUsing advanced formulasCreating pivot tables and data visualizations
• Hands-on Jira experience, including:Managing workflowsTracking and processing ticketsCollaborating across teams through the platform
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with:Business and application managersArchitects and analystsEngineering and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience executing or validating information security controls.
• Experience in the financial services industry (nice to have, not required).
