Role Description

This is a full‑time position for a Fitness Director at Arch Amenities Group, located on‑site in Chicago, IL. The Fitness Director will oversee daily operations of the fitness center, including managing group exercise programs, personal training services, and fitness events. Responsibilities include staff training and scheduling, supervising fitness activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining facility safety and cleanliness. Additionally, the Fitness Director will develop fitness programming, evaluate its effectiveness, and collaborate with management to enhance services and meet client needs.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in Group Exercise and Group Training program development and leadership

Strong understanding of Exercise Physiology and its application in fitness training

Exceptional Customer Service skills to foster positive member and participant experiences

Proficiency in Training and managing fitness personnel

Certification in fitness training or group fitness instruction (preferred)

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to a dynamic environment

Previous experience in fitness center management or leadership is a plus
