Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide therapy services for a PreK-5th grade caseload within an elementary school setting in Northport, AL. This contract position runs from November 3rd through May 21st and serves approximately 65 students.
Key responsibilities :
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of PreK-5th grade students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute recommendations
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address speech, language, and communication disorders
Qualifications and experience :
Location : Northport, AL (Elementary school environment)
This role offers the opportunity to impact students communication development in a supportive educational setting over the course of the contract school year.
