Job Summary :

The Controls Systems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an integrated multi-site controls and automation solution spanning Supermicro's global facilities for rack integration, burn-in, and cooling infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical execution (device connectivity, protocol configuration, database integration) with system-level architecture and design, bridging Rack Solutions, Facilities, Production, and IT teams to create a unified, scalable, and data-driven controls environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

System Architecture & Integration

• Design and implement a multi-site controls architecture across Supermicro's global facilities.
• Define network topology, redundancy, and high-availability requirements for all control nodes and servers.
• Develop and maintain standardized frameworks for BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, and OPC-UA communication layers.
• Ensure open, non-proprietary architecture to support integration with enterprise BMS, SCADA, and analytics tools.

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
