[job_card.job_description]Work in an acute care InterMediate Care / Direct Observation Unit (IMC / DOU), classified as Stepdown Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a Every other weekend work required and may be the first to float as needed Utilizes Cerner EMR system 13-week contract assignment Successful completion of unit orientation required Pass / fail testing on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes may be required during orientation Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs Candidates may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility (direct hire) within the past year; PRN through outside firms is permitted Relias Dysrhythmia exam may be required prior to offer in some regions First attempt and retest opportunities are provided for mandatory skill testing Travelers are required to float within the unit / facility as needed Active California RN license required at the time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Stepdown or IMC / DOU RN experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (copies of active certifications must be provided; pending certifications not accepted) Two professional references required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, both with dates of employment and rehire eligibility Copy of driver’s license required for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
