divh2Payroll System Analyst / h2pThe Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing the SuccessFactors payroll and timekeeping systems with the purpose of improving operational efficiencies. This role serves as the subject matter expert for payroll, timekeeping, and workforce management software, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficient workflows. Responsibilities include requirements development, testing, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Payroll, the analyst ensures accurate payroll administration and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations. / ppWhat Youll Be Doing : / pulliPerform functional analysis, document business requirements, test and implement payroll and timekeeping updates and enhancements. Maintain system tables and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. / liliDevelop in-depth understanding of the payroll process. / liliTroubleshoot payroll issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and recommend solutions to optimize functionality. Serve as a liaison between HRIT and Payroll to ensure effective system performance and coordination. / liliIdentify and implement workflow enhancements and policy updates in collaboration with leadership and vendors. / liliDevelop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using reporting tools. Monitor data integrity and provide actionable insights. Assist the payroll manager with internal audits, compliance reviews and maintaining adherence to applicable regulations. / liliCreate user guides and train users on new features and processes. / liliStay current on system capabilities, payroll regulations, and industry best practices. Participate in user groups and training sessions. / li / ulpEducation and Qualifications : / pulliBachelors Degree is required. An Associates degree with additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. / liliMinimum 5 years of experience in multi-state payroll administration. / liliProficiency in payroll platforms (SuccessFactors / SAP ECP preferred) and advanced Excel skills; ability to configure and troubleshoot systems. / liliKnowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, COBRA, ERISA, and FMLA. / liliProject management experience is a plus. / liliFundamental Payroll Certification (FCP) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent experience preferred. / liliStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. / liliProficiency with prevailing wage regulations and processing. / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical / liliHigh attention to detail with strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting data and identifying trends. / liliTechnical proficiency with payroll systems, and data reporting tools; strong computer literacy including advanced Excel. / liliDemonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality in all payroll processes.
