We are seeking a pediatric psychologist for an immediate opening to join a hospital-based psychology team dedicated to whole-child care. This role focuses on coordinating and participating in interdisciplinary health care delivery, training, and clinical research, with opportunities to impact patient and family outcomes across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

This position is situated within the Department of Psychology and works under departmental leadership while maintaining close, matrixed collaboration with medical specialty leaders. The role interacts daily with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, rehabilitation services, social work, child life, and case management, contributing to interdisciplinary rounds, care conferences, and coordinated treatment planning.
Unit Description : The psychology service delivers comprehensive intervention and consultation in partnership with the medical team to support children and adolescents managing health-related conditions. Team members work side-by-side in ambulatory clinics and inpatient units with world-renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatric rheumatologists, developmental-behavioral pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, and other medical professionals, providing direct services to patients, families, and caregivers in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities include providing integrated inpatient and outpatient consultation; conducting psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions to support adjustment to illness, treatment adherence, pain management, and coping; coordinating care within multidisciplinary clinics; and contributing to case formulation alongside medical colleagues. The role participates in training activities for learners across disciplines, delivers didactics, engages in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives, tracks outcomes to inform care, documents in the medical record in a timely manner, and contributes to program development that advances integrated behavioral health.
