Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

SUMMARY : Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Retirement Plan Consulting, the Senior Retirement Plan Advisor will focus on new business opportunities for employer sponsored retirement accounts - specifically defined contribution and defined benefit plans for large and complex institutional accounts of $25 million or greater. The Advisor is responsible and accountable for generating direct sales revenue from retirement plan products as well as developing Centers of Influence (COI) channels that can produce sales from new business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for handling the retirement plans for large and complex institutional accounts of $25 million or greater. Focus should be on core business development with the requirement to produce substantial fee income from the sale of new retirement plans.
2. Develop strategic approaches and tactics and implement those strategies to increase market awareness of AWM capabilities and service model.
3. Accountable for complex business development and selling productions and services by :
4. Work closely with bank and AWM sales managers and leaders, commercial bankers, trust officers, investment representatives, and other bank personnel to identify qualified retirement plan prospects. Use these referrals and personal effort to sustain an active calling program with the commercial relationship managers.
5. Acquire and maintain complex knowledge in Retirement Plans, ERISA, Fiduciary Issues and DOL regulations.
6. Maintain a prospect pipeline report and keep up to date.
7. Be knowledgeable on the various recordkeeping platforms and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) firms that AWM partners with and know the features and benefits of each.
8. Attend various meetings (CFB4, loan committee, communication meetings, sales rallies, AWM team meetings) on an ongoing basis within your assigned markets.
9. Be able to deliver the AWM story (our culture and our service model).
10. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA / AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and / or account activity.

Pay Range : $87070 - $103398 per year
