Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Shift : Middays or Nights Hours : 40 (5x8s) The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN / LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA / NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements :

• Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years
• Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
