Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) day shift position in Maine, requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital's perioperative department
  • Day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM
  • Care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
  • May be required to float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
  • No travel pairs or groups are allowed for this position
  • Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (ME or NH residents) will be considered local
  • Returning employees must not have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months
  • Floating between facilities may be required according to the 25-mile float policy

    • Requirements

  • Active ME or compact state RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience
  • Current Driver's License required for consideration
