Your opportunity

As a Sr. Full Stack Developer within Client Service & Support (CS&S), you will have the opportunity to develop internal web tools and automation solutions that directly enhance the client service experience for Schwab's retail clients. Your work will empower the organization to operate more efficiently and deliver even greater value by optimizing workflows, reducing manual tasks, and enabling faster, more accurate responses to client needs. The web tools and automation you build will not only support frontline representatives, helping them champion every client's goals with passion and integrity, but also drive the innovation that keeps Schwab at the forefront of the industry.

This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills who can contribute in a highly collaborative culture. The ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable solutions is key to success in this role. By leveraging technology to streamline service processes, you will play a crucial part in enhancing client satisfaction, improving retention, and supporting the core business of CS&S. Applicants should be driven to learn, grow, and continuously contribute to the Trader organization—making a tangible impact on both clients and colleagues, and ensuring Schwab remains a trusted partner in our clients' financial journeys.

This position is on-site 4 days per week.

What you'll do :

• Architect and maintain high-performance front-end applications using the React framework, while integrating seamlessly with scalable back-end services; ensure code quality through peer reviews and mentorship.
• Lead automation and efficiency initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort across development and operational processes.
• Own and enhance internal platforms, including intranet sites, support tools, and monitoring systems—leveraging React to build intuitive, responsive user interfaces that anticipate and prevent client issues.
• Drive strategic innovation, proactively identifying business opportunities and challenging legacy processes through modern React-based solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Serve as a technical lead on enterprise-wide initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments and mentoring junior developers in React best practices and component architecture.
