Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests across a variety of disciplines-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and handle regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document processes, instruct new staff members or students, and maintain laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) expected within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your employment tenure.
