Job Title : Pega Senior Developer – Tier 3 Application Support Location : 100% Remote Duration : Long-Term / Ongoing (No End Date) Employment Type : Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior Developer to provide Tier 3 application support for mission-critical Pega applications. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Pega PRPC, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work closely with business, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide Tier 3 production support for Pega applications, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and defect remediation Troubleshoot complex issues related to Pega rules, integrations, decisioning, and performance Analyze production defects and implement permanent fixes following SDLC and change management processes Support application deployments, hotfixes, and patches in collaboration with DevOps and release teams Monitor application health, logs, alerts, and performance metrics to proactively identify issues Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide detailed documentation and post-incident reports Collaborate with Tier 1 / Tier 2 support teams to provide guidance and knowledge transfer Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, coding standards, and guardrails Work with business stakeholders to understand production issues and prioritize fixes Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application stability and supportability Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Pega application development and support Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC Proven experience providing Tier 3 / L3 production support Strong understanding of Pega rules engine, case management, and integration frameworks Experience troubleshooting performance, security, and data-related issues Solid knowledge of SQL, databases, and Pega data models Experience with application monitoring, logging, and alerting Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Pega certification (CSA, CSSA, or LSA) Experience supporting Pega CDH (Customer Decision Hub) applications Exposure to Decisioning, DPA, or ETL components within Pega Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments Additional Information This role is part of a broader Pega hiring initiative, which also includes : Pega CDH Senior Developer CDH Support – Senior / Lead Decisioning Architect CDH Support – ETL Developer DPA Pega Development Lead
