Job Title : Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, 1 : 1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The RBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data on client progress, and ensuring therapy is delivered with fidelity, professionalism, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy to children in a clinic setting.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client performance and progress.
- Follow protocols for skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and safety management.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the BACB code of ethics.
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members regarding client progress.
- Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Assist with general clinic duties as assigned (materials prep, session notes, client support).

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentActive RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Ability to pass a Level II background checkReliable transportation to and from work.Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to take feedback and implement supervision recommendations.Organizational skills for data collection and session documentation.Emotional resilience and patience when supporting children with challenging behaviors.Commitment to professional growth and continuing education.Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and engage in physical play for extended periods up to 6-8 hours per day.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.Ability to physically support clients when needed for safety.Schedule & Compensation
