Your impact

You’ll lead hands-on shop work that brings equipment back to life : methodical disassembly, meticulous inspection, and precise reassembly of large pumps and valves. Your expertise extends across rotating assets—centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, and pump seals—along with the support systems that keep them running.

What it takes

• 5+ years of job-shop experience performing repair, assembly, and disassembly on large pumps, valves, and rotating equipment
• Proven ability to service rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, pump seals, and associated support systems
• Millwright mechanic background or formal training from an accredited technical college / trade school; or completion of an equivalent multi-year apprenticeship
• High mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
• Comfort using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools—and interpreting the readings accurately
• Clear understanding of how individual pump components function and fit together
