Senior IT Security Engineer

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Senior IT Security Engineer. Primary Functions : Design, implement, and maintain security systems to protect the organization's computer networks and data from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and breaches. This includes coordinating and ensuring remediation of identified vulnerabilities, participating in all internal and external security audits and penetration testing, creating or enhancing security policies, procedures, and standards, and partnering with other teams at HVCU to mature our cyber security program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architectures, including firewalls, access controls, encryptions standards, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensure cyber security tools and solutions are highly available and up to date.
• Accountable for remediation of any Security Incidents, Identified Vulnerabilities, an implementation of any security system Hardening activities.
• Create and enforce IT Cyber Security Standards and Practices. Champion collaboration between IT teams, Risk Management, and 3
