Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance installation and repair of hardware software and systems directly at customer locations
- Diagnoses and resolving software and hardware incidents including operating systems Windows MAC and across a range of application software on the client machine Office applications Outlook Teams OneDrive etc
- Installation and configure Windows and MAC Workstations Office and other required business applications
- Physically mount servers switches patch panels and other network equipment into server racks often following specific placement guidelines
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
- Guiding Walking customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs explain technical information and provide training on equipment use
- Accurately document all service activities including repairs maintenance and customer interactions
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
