Manufacturing Assistant / Purchasing Clerk

We are a fast-paced manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Assistant / Purchasing Clerk to join our team and support both production and purchasing operations.

Responsibilities : Purchasing Support :

  • Assist with placing and tracking purchase orders for raw materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials
  • Maintain purchasing records and update internal databases (ERP or inventory software)

Manufacturing Support :

  • Coordinate with production team to forecast material needs based on current orders
  • Track work-in-progress materials and escalate shortages or delays
  • Prepare and distribute production documentation (e.g., job travelers, work orders)
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of materials used

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in manufacturing and / or purchasing (12 years preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
