Data Migration Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of ITSM data from BMC Remedy to Jira Service Management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute the end-to-end data migration from BMC Remedy to Jira

Analyze and extract data from Remedy's backend using SQL or API access

Maintain a deep understanding of ITSM platforms, including BMC Remedy and Jira Service Management

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in data migration from legacy ITSM systems to modern platforms

Expertise in BMC Remedy administration and data structures

Proficiency in Jira Service Management configuration and administration

Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including advanced querying and scripting

Experience working with government clients and understanding public sector IT projects
