About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership for large, complex multifamily projects or oversee multiple projects concurrently. This role is responsible for overall project strategy, financial performance, client relationships, and team development from preconstruction through final turnover.
Responsibilities
Lead delivery of large-scale multifamily projects or a portfolio of residential projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and overall financial performanceDirect subcontractor procurement, scope leveling, buyout strategy, and major contract negotiationsPartner with superintendents and field leadership on logistics planning, schedule strategy, and manpower forecastingServe as senior point of contact for owners, developers, architects, and consultantsMonitor and enforce safety programs and quality standards across all assigned projectsReview and approve major submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement packagesLead executive-level project meetings, client updates, and internal performance reviewsIdentify project risks early and implement mitigation and recovery strategiesMentor and develop project managers, assistant PMs, and project engineersSupport preconstruction efforts including early budgeting, constructability reviews, and value engineeringOversee inspections, commissioning, punch list execution, and final owner acceptanceSupport business development through client retention, proposal input, and repeat work initiativesQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred8+ years of progressive multifamily project management experienceStrong background delivering podium, wrap, or mixed-use residential projectsProven ability to manage large budgets, complex schedules, and multiple project teamsAdvanced knowledge of cost control, contracting, MEP coordination, and life-safety systemsStrong leadership presence with excellent communication and client management skillsProficiency with construction management and cost control software
