Accounts payable analyst

Our client, a dynamic organization in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced and analytical Accounts Payable Analyst to oversee complex AP processes and ensure financial accuracy. This role is ideal for a professional looking to leverage technology and data analysis in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities :

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, performing three-way matching, and ensuring proper GL coding and approvals.
• Execute weekly payment runs via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Perform monthly AP sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliation and assist with month-end accruals and close.
• Manage vendor setup and maintenance, ensuring collection of W-9s and compliance documentation.
• Resolve complex invoice discrepancies and serve as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries.
