Office Manager

Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm

Pay Rate : $30-$35 / hr

Location : Santa Clara, CA

Experience : At least 3 years of office manager experience

Office Manager Job Duties include :

Office Administration & Customer Service :

  • ? Greet customers and accept incoming shipments.
  • ? Maintain and set up record-keeping and filing systems.
  • ? Perform general administrative tasks as assigned.
  • ? Assist with the coordination of marketing activities, company events, and seminars. Finance & Logistics :
  • ? Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • ? Process and manage Bill and Ship costs via light data entry.
  • ? Coordinate domestic and international equipment shipments using carriers like FedEx and DHL.
  • ? Assist with the logging of purchased, borrowed, and customer-owned equipment. Human Resources & Payroll :
  • ? Process payroll for up to five employees.
  • ? Manage employee onboarding.
  • ? Oversee the enrollment of benefits, including 401K and other company-offered benefits.
  • ? Other duties as assigned

Office Manager Preferred Skills include :

  • ? Experience in International shipping.
  • ? Prior HR or payroll experience (knowledge of basic HR principles a plus).
  • ? Experience working for a start-up or small company.
  • ? College degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) preferred.
  • Office Manager Requirements may include :

    Experience :

  • ? 3–5 years of similar experience in a fast-paced environment as an office manager, administrator, or similar support role for a small office or team.
  • ? Proficiency in Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office software products (Office 365).
  • ? Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Apps.
  • Legal & Age :

  • ? All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • ? Must have proof of eligibility to work in the .
  • Personal Attributes :

  • ? Must possess superior organization and prioritization skills.
  • ? High energy level and self-motivation.
  • ? Must be a highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • ? Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • ? Must provide 3 professional references
