About This Role:

The Vice President of Real Estate Lending is responsible for leading and managing the real estate lending division of the organization. This executive-level role involves developing lending strategies, overseeing loan origination and underwriting, ensuring regulatory compliance, building strategic relationships, and achieving portfolio growth while maintaining asset quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the real estate lending market trends to identify new opportunities and with executive leadership to align lending strategies with company goals.
• Team Management:Lead, mentor, and manage real estate lending staff including loan officers, underwriters, and support performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing training and development.
• Loan Origination & Portfolio Management:Oversee origination, processing, underwriting, and closing of residential real estate loan quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance throughout the lending and manage loan portfolio performance, including delinquency and default rates.
• Risk & Compliance:Ensure adherence to federal, state, and internal lending regulations and and maintain risk management protocols and loan review procedures.
• Business Development:Foster relationships with real estate developers, brokers, attorneys, and other industry lending products and services through networking, outreach, and community involvement.
• Reporting & Analytics:Provide regular reports to executive leadership on loan pipeline, portfolio performance, risk exposure, and market data analytics to inform lending decisions and strategic adjustments.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field (MBA or relevant master’s preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate lending, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of real estate finance, loan underwriting, credit analysis, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven track record of portfolio growth and risk mitigation
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in lending software (Encompass); strong analytical and financial modeling skills

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary/hourly range for this position is $145,000.00 - $175,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
