Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Monitor in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, controlling access, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter theft, damage, or other unwanted behaviors.
  • Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership as required.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
