General Manager

DESCRIPTION :

Fast-paced, international restaurant group is seeking an established and passionate General Manager / Director of Operations with a strong technical background in fine dining (Michelin / Luxury hotel F&B preferred) to lead their flagship US location in San Francisco. The right candidate will be someone that loves service and F&B, has a depth of experience leading a high volume luxury / fine dining restaurant ($15MM-25MM). Seeking strong financial acumen, passion for hospitality, experience leading a large team (both salaried and hourly) and driving success in a challenging market. Candidates with Michelin and / or Forbes 5 star F&B experience at the GM / DO level is preferred.

Must be eligible to work in the US

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and direction (from the financials to the flow of the dining room)
• Manage operations, administrative responsibilities, and finances of business
• Recruit and train new hires on business practices
• Drive development of employees
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
